Lakeside Cottage Refresh

A 1940s cottage that had gone dark and heavy, opened back up to the water.

Scope: Full-service design, four rooms
Timeline: Nine months, from survey to styling
Style: Soft modern, warm woods, lake light

Mid-century Ranch

A long, low 1961 ranch given back its walnut, its stone and its sense of humor.

Scope: Full renovation, five rooms
Timeline: Fourteen months, phased around the family
Style: Mid-century, stone, walnut, olive
